Ep. 39. Finding our core truth with Hypnotherapist Charlotte Hannett

“I saw alcohol as a route to connection and a route to relaxation and a route to switching my mind off. I thought something would be missing…”

With Charlotte Hannett Hypnotherapist

Charlotte supports people to create positive change, working with things like anxiety, habits, self-belief, confidence, overwhelm and patterns that may be holding them back.  But what really comes through in this conversation is that, for Charlotte, the work isn’t so much about the symptom or the particular thing someone comes in with. It’s about the person underneath it ~ reconnecting with yourself, your inner knowing and how you see yourself.

In this episode, we talk about hypnotherapy and some of the misconceptions around it, but we also go well beyond the modality. We talk about growing up in a small town, travelling and finding our own paths, becoming practitioners, learning not to therapise our friends, motherhood, dating, alcohol, self-validation and what it means to live in greater connection with yourself.

And because Charlotte and I have known each other for so long, there are a few throwbacks to our younger selves in there too.

About Charlotte

Charlotte is passionate about guiding people to create positive change in their lives. She believes hypnotherapy can empower people to let go of what has been holding them back and step into the best version of themselves.

Whether it’s letting go of something they know isn’t good for them — alcohol, gambling, vaping, sugar, excess weight, anxiety, negative thoughts, guilt, anger, regret, low self-esteem, low confidence, past negative experiences, toxic relationship patterns, health anxiety, inner conflict, low self-belief or overwhelm — Charlotte supports her clients to reconnect with their inner strength and create meaningful change.

Imagine the feeling of freedom.
